Jasmin Verjus Honey

Quick, simple and effective

The drink from the last pairing is as simple as it is effective, and also deserves a place in the non-alcoholic cocktail category. All you need is jasmine tea, a very good honey and some of our Verjus Pur, which is not just sour.

Our Verjus Pur, aka green juice made from unripe grapes, also brings the fine flavour of the grapes with it. Just the right components to balance out the sweetness of the honey syrup, with the jasmine tea adding a floral note.

But there is also a bitter note to the tea. I brew it a little stronger to capture enough of the tannins. Incidentally, any other type of tea is also possible here. Whether a strong Asam or a finer Darjeeling, even an Earl Grey or rose tea can give our Verjus Honey Drink a new tangy note, but I wouldn't recommend pure herbal teas because they might lack the necessary oomph.

But there are no limits to your imagination!

Have fun making your own & cheers
