Dr. Jaglas Herber Hibiskus - Alcohol Free

Committed to tradition

The world of non-alcoholic aperitifs has long been enriched by the Jagla family. Here, tradition and modernity are elegantly combined. A real highlight of the range is „Herber Hibiskus“. This aperitif won me over straight away. But I'm only now getting round to writing a review about it.

With its ruby red colour, it's not only an eye-catcher but also a real winner thanks to its deep, floral flavour. On the tongue, hibiscus is the central theme, and it is also tart, thanks to the bitter orange used. There are light rosemary notes and a hint of vanilla. I think it's a very well-rounded drink.

The drink is ideal for any occasion. Whether as a mix with tonic, or even better with Strictly Verjus, or even as a stylish gift. By the way, we now have a wonderful bundle of 2 bottles of Sparkling Pink and a bottle of „Dr. Jaglas Herber Hibiskus“. If that's not a great gift!

I no longer give alcohol as a gift. Simply because I've realised that the person I'm giving the gift to might have a similar history with the substance as me, or, or.... . The longer I think about the subject, the more absurd I find the idea of simply bringing alcohol and continuing to set the standard - we have all become more sensitive to this issue, which is a good thing.

That's why this stylish little bottle makes the perfect gift. Even for those who drink alcohol. „Dr. Jaglas Herber Hibiskus“ can also be mixed with alcoholic sparkling wine, which is definitely not a recommendation from me. This is definitely not a recommendation from me, of course, but it shows how versatile such an alcohol-free alternative can be. It's the perfect gift for everyone.

There is also a limoncello alternative in the programme. "San Limello" is a top aperitif with a light citrus flavour and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. But more on that shortly!
