Mocktailthursday, Thirstythursday, Thirstday….

A quick and extremely tasty sundowner for all pastis friends. I'm a fan, especially of the non-alcoholic alternative. We have a mash up of two cocktails here. The Pastis Rouge is prepared classically with Grenadine and the La Mauresque with almond syrup. In this version, I replace grenadine with a more acidic hibiscus syrup. The almond flavour plays around the aniseed-herb-acid mixture and gives the drink an oriental twist. Cheers!

4 CL Alcohol-free Pastis

2 CL Hibiscus Syrup

2 CL Orgeat

1 Cl Lime Juice fresh

Water still

Crushed Ice

Fill the glass with crushed ice. First pour in the hibiscus syrup, then the orgeat and the pastis slowly. Then slowly fill up with water.
