Kolonne Null Riesling 2019 -alcohol free
Riesling perfect...
but how time flies! Unfortunately, the tasting was a few months ago. And I was shocked to discover that there are only a few bottles of Riesling left in circulation. So order quickly, because this wine definitely whets your appetite for non-alcoholic wines! The packaging is, as usual, appealingly modern and of high quality. After opening the bottle, I perceive subtle aromas. A little apple and light berries. These are also found on the palate, the apple is green with a little apricot, plus a fine mineral note. The finish is also very nice, with aromas reminiscent of black tea. Conclusion: A fine non-alcoholic Riesling alternative. No wonder it is so popular!
Here is some information about the producers. The Kolonne Null website states:
"A research and development team with its own laboratory and an uncompromising quality standard in the purchase of the basic wines - these are the cornerstones on which the success of Kolonne Null is based. In collaboration with selected vintners - mostly from VDP wineries - the Kolonne Null team creates wines that are particularly suitable for dealcoholisation. After these have been dealcoholised in the laboratory on a test basis, the best results are then produced on a larger scale. The result is vintage wines and sparkling wines that meet the highest standards.
The column creates its non-alcoholic wines in co-production with award-winning ” Close cooperation with our winegrowers, uncompromising demands on the grape material and targeted vinification of the wines are the maxims of Kolonne. Our collection includes wines from the Nahe, Mosel, Weinviertel and the heart of Provence. Kolonne Null does not set itself any (geographical) limits, only the quality and the close cooperation with the winegrowers are decisive for us".
