Thomson & Scott Noughty - Sparkling Chardonnay - alcohol free

Finest stuff.

Amanda Thomson finally wanted to enjoy first-class non-alcoholic prosecco. For this reason, she founded Thomson & Scott. In the meantime, this has resulted in a portfolio of alcohol-free products of the highest standard. All with low sugar content, vegan wine production from organic cultivation. Sounds really good. From the outside, too, quality has been emphasised in the pack-making process. The label is strikingly elaborately produced. This is not just something for the "spare bench". The handling makes friends, and visually it plays in the upper league. Well done Noughty! The real cork opens with a chracteristic and rich plop. The pale yellow sparkling wine bubbles well and lasts long enough in the glass. The taste is fabulous with balanced acidity and an extremely nice dry finish. Ripe apples, notes of redcurrant and typical mineral accents, make this alcohol-free sparkling wine a truly equal alternative. A must buy!

According to the producer, the grapes come from sandy and chalky vineyards in southern Spain. The base wine is de-alcoholised using a patented method and thus remains true to its flavour. No unnecessary sugar is added and no artificial flavours are used. This Chardonnay sparkling wine is perfect for sparkling wine cocktails, e.g. with smoked tea or as a spritz. The ripe acidity prevents a too sweet mixed drink. Here, too, we come very close to the "originals". Only with the nice side effect that no alcohol equals fewer calories. The wine is available here.
