Leitz - Eins Zwei Zero - Rosé - alcohol free
Rosé all day part II.
After the really good Rosé Sparkling, today we have something still from the Leitz Winery in the glass. It is the alcohol-free version of the Eins Zwei Dry Rosé, the Eins Zwei Zero Rosé. Like the entire Zero series, the packaging is very appealing. Embossed labels, a subtle choice of colours and fine typography convey a sense of fun and lightness. This is certainly also a reason for the 'If Communication Design Award' 2019.
Eins Zwei Zero consists of Merlot, Portugieser and Pinot Noir and is produced using the latest vacuum technology. Here, the wine is not heated so much, where through the aromas can be preserved, but the alcohol of the wine already evaporates at 29 degrees. In this way, it is possible to produce a wine with 0.0% alcohol and at the same time retain a variety of aromas.
The pink-coloured wine with a slight peach tone can compete with a real rosé not only on the outside. After opening, fine rhubarb notes unfold. In the glass, the well-chilled wine bubbles beautifully. On the palate, fruity rosehip and fine raspberry dominate, all very well rounded off by light acidity. A very convincing non-alcoholic alternative, and a perfect summer wine, after all, it is already May....
