Krug Restaurant - Hamburg
Highlevel Zero X Krug
Welcome to the Krug, an institution in Paul Roosen Straße, Hamburg St. Pauli. Once one of the first restaurants in this neighbourhood, the Krug has made a significant contribution to turning the street into a hotspot for good food. Those who attach great importance to ‘star food’ will also find a fine-dining restaurant here, the Haebel.
The Krug impresses with its very inviting atmosphere. The rustic, ivy-covered entrance door is just as much a trademark as the 2CV in front of the door. The boot of the ‘duck’ is often used as a bar table.
Inside, an open-plan kitchen awaits you, where classic dishes are prepared with a modern twist. The intimate and cosy atmosphere invites you to stay. I like open kitchens, it's always something special to be able to watch the chefs at work.
The menu at the Krug is deliberately small and includes carefully selected dishes. An approach that is entirely dedicated to quality, freshness and local ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan dishes can be found as well as savoury dishes.
The selection of non-alcoholic drinks is also remarkable! Of course, because our Strictly-Verjus Sparkling Pink is served here. Whether as a well-known aperitif with non-alcoholic Vermouth or pure with the creative dishes of the talented kitchen crew led by Sebastian Kramer.
The Krug is equally popular with locals and visitors from out of town. The extremely friendly service and the personal touch of owner Terry Krug are impressive across the board.
Definitely worth a visit! Book a table here.
Cheers Oliver
