Pure, really good!

"There is light in it", or also: "There is an ethereal magic in HERBAL ELIXIR No1!". That's what you can read on the website of Markman's Finest Herbal Drinks. It may sound a bit special. But I can confirm that about the ethereal magic, however. Not only in the nose, an idea of pine needles, resinous and fresh. On the tongue, in addition to the herbal notes and the good acid-tannin balance, the ethereal mentholated pleasant finish is what I remember most. The Herbal Elixir is therefore alone in the field. A dense herbal blend with a pleasant mouthfeel that lingers on the palate for a long time and is not at all distracting. That is very rare in the 0.0% botanical sector. Unlike most non-alcoholic spirits, Markman's creation is perfect to enjoy neat. Just like that, well chilled, very convincing!

According to inventor Mark Gebehart aka Markman, seven years were invested in the development of this product, which is based on green tea as well as apple juice from meadow orchards. While the acidity can definitely be attributed to the fruit and the fine tannins to the tea, the herbs and spice mixtures used remain secret. To me, they also stay hidden, it's hard to pick out one particular ingredient. Ginger for sure, lemon too, cardamom, maybe clove ...? But in the end it doesn't matter at all. The drink is well-rounded, enjoyable and stimulating! A great digestif through and through or in a mix as an aperitif. 95 % of the ingredients are organically grown. In addition, Herbal Elixir No.1 comes without sugar or preservatives. A fresh product, which is actually good, but unfortunately does not contribute to the shelf life. The beautiful bottle (would also look good on the shelf) has to be stored cold, and the contents should be consumed quickly after opening, but it will be, guaranteed!
